I absolutely LOVED my experience at Angus club steakhouse the other night. From start to finish, we enjoyed everything. The food was amazing! I had the crab cake as my appetizer, which was beautifully presented and tasted heavenly. Of course, I had the filet mignon, and was not disappointed, was stunningly amazing. The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. . . .
My husband and I were in the city shopping and passed by Angus Club Steakhouse, which has recently opened. The interior design was beautiful. The food was exceptional. For appetizers, I had the crab cakes which were to die for andmy husband had the shrimp cocktail - which were also amazing. Obviously we ordered a steak for two. Because of the difference in taste, I enjoy my steak cooked medium and my husband likes his medium-rear . . .
Though the steak and sides at Angus are good, I've rated it with its competitors in mind. Namely, because of Angus' focus on the porterhouse, it has to compete with Peter Luger, Wolfgang's, and Mark Josephs. And unfortunately, I don't think Angus stacks up quite as well. . .
